COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Festival of the Dead Very Pale Ale welcomes fall in our Myrtle Street neighborhood. The first few days in November is a time for celebration and remembrance, and you will find this beer on tap at local bars & restaurants during this time of year only. In the spirit of the Mexican holiday of the Dia Los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, we brew Festival of the Dead Very Pale Ale. You can just call it Dead Beer. Dead Beer is our American Pale Ale that benefits VSA Arts of Montana. A portion of sales from this beer are donated to this organization which sponsors Missoula’s Day of the Dead Arts festival and parade. We use fresh Crystal Aroma Hops in the final stages of the boiling kettle. These hops are highly aromatic and contribute a citrusy flavor to the beer. Body is medium, the head is white and rocky and the finish, crisp. Don’t forget to pour a two finger head in order to roust the hop aromatics from the beer!

Pint at brewery. Mostly clear pale straw gold/yellow. Aroma of not much hop, or malt. In all fairness, I just drank the Garden City which was f’ing awesome. Tastes of grain and very mild citrus. Kind of meh. Medium body, soft carbonation.
