Always cool to follow one of the few raters I still read, Alex! On tap. Hazy amber with an off white top. Nose is caramel and a hint of fruit. Taste is grainy, with notes of fruit and caramel.

Cool fucking name. Caramel notes on the nose, a little lemon, their hosue yeast. Pours golden amber, thin head. Flavors of caramel, lemon notes, a little hop bitterness, and house yeast. Clean, a little alcohol noticeable at time, perhaps a touch tart here and there as well.

Draft at the Rhino. Pours golden brown with bright gold edges. Tangy metallic caramel nose. Creamy medium body with soft carb. Caramel, spinach, and fresh cut wood on the mid palate. Mild toasty resin finish.

UPDATED: SEP 17, 2011 Pint at brewery. Clear amber, frothy beige head. Aroma of mild floral hop, caramel and grain. Taste has a great balance of sweet fruit, floral hop and traditional Marzen flavor.Very smooth, mild carboantion. Mild bitter finish. Better than most in America O’fests since it’s not as sweet and grainy as most....Just got a growler of this years new batch. Once again I am enjoying how they managed to balance the normal marzen maltiness with a nice amount of hops. There is little bitterness and nice crsip floral character. This is a bready, nutty, toasty, floral and lightly bitter O’fest. Very nice.

On tap at the brewery. This amber ale poured with a generous off-white head and a floral aroma. There is a thick caramel malt flavor that leaves a chalky sensation on the palate. It achieve pretty good hop integration, considering it’s only 24 IBU.
