On tap at the brewery. This copper ale poured with a modest off-white head and a malty aroma. The flavor is roasted malt that is well-balanced with hop bitterness.

On tap at Kettle House. Pours dark amber with an off-white ring of foam. Caramel and citrus in the nose and taste. Dry finish. Not a bad beer, but not their best effort.

Thanks to Skyview for sharing. Pours a cloudy burnt amber color. Light roasted malt and toffee on the nose. Nice floral hops with a balance of toasty sweet malt round out a pretty nice palate on this beer.

Picked up single 16-oz can at the brewery’s taproom in Missoula, Montana. Pours a haze brownish amber brew with a thin off-white head that quickly dissolves to a fine film and ring. Aroma of mostly toasted multi-grain malt, a touch of grassy hops and pear fruit. Taste is lightly carbonated, medium bodied with mostly multi-grain flavor and just a hint of bitterness. Finish is light, slightly watery, a breakfast cereal aftertaste with a good balance of bitterness.

Canned. Not very good at all. Cloudy brown appearance, which is probably its best quality. Flavor has very light malt and unfortunately some metal.

A can, courtesy of Skyview. Dark amber color with a thick head. Small malt aroma. Fairly malty taste without going too sweet. Just enough hops to make you notice. Simple, good.
