Tap (Helsinki Beer Festival 2011)
5 Simple with a hint of sweet malts, noble hops.
4 Fairly dark red.
5+ Tastes "red". Again, simple, it’s a malt-oriented brew.
3 Full palate, a little heavy and sweet. Finish has a pleasant dryness to it.
11 No flaws, and certainly chuggable.

Pours brown color with small head. Aroma of malts and spices. Flavor of malts, fruits and some dry hay, yeast notes also.

Mahogany body, off-white head. Aroma has some caramel malt, and hops. Both really oddly separated from each other. Sweetness, raisins. Flavour has same thing, malt on botton and hops on the top of the beer. Not good at all. Off-balanced.

Draught@Helsinki Beer Festival 2011. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is fruits, mild wood, toasted notes as well as some diacetyl. Flavour is caramel malts, toffee, caramel and some mild diacetyl. Quite pleasantly balanced.

Draught at HBF2011. Pours a clear dark brown. Aroma is herbal hops with some caramel. Taste is herbal hops with some tones of the malts in there as well. Unfortunately you get a whiff and hints of something fishfood-like at times. Very unpleasant. Palate is fairly alright.

Dark amber color, good beige head. Light wheaty-like sweet bun aroma. Medium-bodied. Wheaty, a bit twisted spicey flavor. Banana-toasted flavors. There is something odd (yeast?) in the both of Tumma Sarvi, 1 and 2.

Clear dark brown colour with tiny off-white head. Some maltiness in aroma but also strong aroma of fresh hop cones. Flavour is also quite strange since it’s only mildly bitter but it has strong flavour of fresh hop cones. It tastes like hop cone juice added to it. Some maltiness too. Very short sugary hoppy aftertaste.
