On tap at the brewery. Pours a semi-cloudy golden tinted amber, no head but ok lacing. Nice hoppy aroma of floral, pine, a maybe a hint of caramel. Nice lighter mouthfeel with a little bitter bite and a clean finish.

A blonde golden IPA with a thin frothy light mocha head. In aroma, light floral hops with cheesy notes, weird. In mouth, a decent IPA with biscuit malt, funky hops, nice and funky. On tap at TAP NY, April 28, 2012.

Pouring at TAPNY. Pours a hazed gold with a medium to large white head. Tropical fruit on the nose, sweet citrus and lemon grass. Citrus, turning into a slow biter finish with toast and grapefruit.

This was one of the most refreshing IPA’s I’ve ever had. The nose and the flavor both refreshing. It was like a squirt of fresh squeezed grapefruit in my mouth. There was also butter, black pepper and burnt popcorn. The nose a little more on the perfumey side but still that refreshing burst of grapefruit.

Appears cloudy orange. No head, smattering of lace. Grainy malt aroma, then a citrusy (tangerine?) hop. Some honey in the nose. Very grainy malt taste; some sweet honey and citrus taste. Very decent. The malt is definitely the thing here, with a hop accent.

Sample at the brewery - Hops on nose, good looking head, wet dog on plate. Total fail for me.

Dark copper color, absolutely zero head. Aroma was all malt. Not even a whiff of hops. Flavor starts with sweet malts and finishes with an almost sour hop bitterness. Not good at all.
