Feb 8, 2007 Deep orange, light oak pour with a cream bubble of light tan. Faint wisp of starfruit and weak malt. Flavor comes in loudly with discordant conflict of soaking pennies and dusty dry old malt. Ick. Malt blends horribly with unbalanced and ugly hop presence. Metallic hop dust flavor dominates entire palate. Spicy? Try bloody. Not good. Long, crushingly bitter smack. This beer had relatively good body for their line, but it gets slaughtered with a rancid hop presence. Total failure. Try again.
