Pours a clean golden color. One and a half finger head. Leaves some good lacing as the beer goes down. Taste is malty and juicy. Nice hop flavor for a pale ale. Palate starts out malty and finishes with a nice juicy burst. Very good beer. Best one Iíve had from Keweenaw so far. Well done.

12oz can. FIltered tan-orange with a creamy off-white head. Bright golden malt and noble hop aroma, some earthy citrus too. Really well balanced, leaning towards the fresh doughy malt tones, but still has a respectable hop balance. Tame and sort of standard, but drinkable and enjoyable too. Has a similar mouthfeel and subdued Canadian/English character to the other Keweenaw beers Iíve had.

Pours a dark orange color with nice head. Aroma is malt with hint of pepper. Palate is smooth malt upfront with a pretty good hop finish. Best Keweenaw beer Ive had so far.

Thin white head with a bit of lacing. Slightly cloudy orange from the can. Solid hop flavor with the malt coming through in the aftertaste.

Can in A squared sweating profusely at the HGI pool. Nice pale ale that had buckets of orange and pineapple notes. Light bitterness overall but very refreshing. Nice.

Six pack from Salute on Gull Road, Kalamazoo. Pour from a 12 oz can. Cler light amber brew with decent head and good head retention. Aroma of grass, a little crisp fruit, a little malt. Moderate sweet malt at the start transitioning to a grassy then bitter hops finish. Lingering weak bitter and astringency after the swallow. Hints of a caramel throughout, even towards the finish. Crisp, clean, very refined and well crafted.

12oz Can. Thanks Sean! Leafy green minty aroma. Flavors bring me home. Thereís a distinct yeast, mineral, and malt character underneath all Keweenaw beers. Some might point to fermentation flaws, but Iím really appreciating the unique blend for reminding me of the beers from home. Even the hop use is distinct, with a slightly metallic and grassy finish. This gets a little estery and cereal-grain focused in the middle, but maintains some hoppy Pale Ale-ness.

Can. Poured a clear copper color with an average to large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate citrus hop and malt aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bittersweet flavor with a medium bittersweet finish of moderate duration. Good can beer.

12 oz. can. Pours hazy light amber with a nice foamy sudsy off white head that settles and shows decent sticky lacing. Aroma has a gentle malt caramel note and the hops shoe them self well with a good bitterness and earthy floral notes. Taste is pretty bitter with biting citrus floral dry hops and rounded off with a nice malt backbone. Palate is medium and somewhat chewy and finishes dry. This is really a decent Pale Ale from a can and its not overpriced $6.99 like many of the newer breweries that are selling six packs for $9.99

Pours a clear copper orange with a small white head. Aromas of apple, citrus, and caramel. Taste is slightly bitter but fairly smooth. Light carb and med mouthfeel.
