3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a can a beautiful, dark red/amber with a nice frothy head that lingered and faded to very nice lacing. Aroma was malty and sweet with a slight smokey/oak hint. Taste included sweet maltiness, caramel and hint of oak aging. Body and density was above average. Overall, I liked this Scottish ale! Too bad it’s not sold locally.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Draft. Brown/amber with thin beige head. Aroma of light malt sweetness, caramel, and toasted malt. Light body, caramel, toasted malt, medium sweetness, light metallic note, and a malty sweet finish. A little too thin on the body and more of an amber ale.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
can. pours almost clear bright dark golden orange with a quite nice light beige-orange head, some retention and lacing. caramel, caramunich, spicy toasted maltiness, some fruitiness, wet grains, light woodsy astringent notes, awkward plastic notes along very light smoky-ashy notes, some brown sugar sweetness. light carbonation, light to medium body - oily, semi-sweet spicy-pepepry-grassy finish. had hopes with a its nice aroma. falls more than short.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Another weak beer. I had much higher hopes. I gues a brewery in a college town is bound to do well. Faint peat earthiness, again, its watery.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12oz can, purchased from Woodstock Wine in Cheese in Michigan. Enjoyed at night on a windy pontoon (rating live). Poured into a glass... Like I said, it’s very dark, but against the pale light of my laptop it looks amber. Thin off-white head. Leaves some loose lace. Caramel malty taste, mostly. Musty. Some dark fruit. Moderate sweet taste, light bit of tart, some spiciness. A whatever amber / scottish ale.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Appearance - 4/5 - murky brown with a nice off white head that sticks. Laces a bit too.
Aroma - 7/10 - creamy maltiness and some light peat. Brown sugar.
Taste - 8/10 - nice creamy malt, malted milk, light peat, very light caramel and chocolate
Mouth/palate - 4/5 - creamy, slightly watery, alc covered, aftertaste is creamy malt extract
Overall -- 13/20 - great beer, goes along with their mission of getting people into craft beer, good for big 3 drinkers and craft drinkers alike!

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a can (that’s all they do). A reddish brown fills the glass behind a roaring off white head. Two fingers at least that has a creamy top. Amora has caramel and biscuit smells. Rather sweet. Tastes like spiced caramel. Again, rather sweet. Palate is light to slighty medium. Leaves a small spicy burn at the end. Keweenaw states that they have a goal to turn beer drinkers into craft beer lovers. With that said thier beer is going to be on the watery side in hopes of getting "da uppers" to drink it. Overall this is a good beer, could be a little more bold, but that’s not thier mission.
