2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Can. Pours a clear straw color with a white head. Almost no aroma. Almost no taste. Palate is very light. I know Keweenaw has a goal to turn beer drinkers into craft beer lovers but this is not how to do it. Busch Light is better.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
This beer pours a clear pale straw color with a medium foamy white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Short strings of lace. Aroma of fruit, grassy hops and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of mild grassy hops, biscuit malt and a bit of fruit. The finish is mildly bitter with a short herbal hops aftertaste. Average overall.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 ounce can into pint glass, canned on 6/16/2014. Pours hazy bright golden straw color with a 1-2 finger dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass, with a moderate amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of pale malt, fruity yeast, and light earthy hop notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness. Minimal earthy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, apple, wheat, cracker, biscuit, light honey, herbal, floral, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a short bit. Good balance and robustness of pale malt, fruity yeast, and light earthy hop flavors; with slight dryness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and slightly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present on the finish as expected of 4.7%. Overall this is a good blonde ale style. All around good robustness and balance of pale malt, fruity yeast, and light earthy hop flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Tap at Williams. Pint glass. Very light gold with tiny head. No aroma. Neutral in every sense but doesn’t have the bad elements of other domestic Crap beer. Pretty average but not terrible.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
From a can quite nice blond presentation and fresh aroma. Quite easy going at first and much better than expected. Yes, goes down easy and seems very fresh. there is even a hint of tartness in there, just barely. No real bitterness in this and that makes it easy for me to enjoy. Overall much better than expected beer experience. Well done.

can. Golden with one finger head. Rather bland. Light body with mild hops. Needs something more flavor-wise.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
$3.50 can bought at Three Blind Mice in Mt. Clemens, Michigan.
Appearance: Pale/golden sort of yellow color. A two finger head fluffs on top, but doesn’t last too long. Not much lacing. Not too bad.
Smell: Grassy hay sorts of smells. I have no shame in admitting I don’t know the difference between a pilsner and a blonde ale, other than that they’re only slightly different to me. Slight hoppiness. A bit of breadiness as well. A pretty average-at-best smelling blonde ale, but I wasn’t expecting any more.
Taste/feel: Like the smell, with a slight hop character with hay, and then a bread characteristic on the finish. The carbonation is medium-high.
A pretty decent beer. A good option to session, and the price is right.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: JAN 27, 2014 Yellow with a slight haze, filmy white head and no lacing or carbonation. Aroma of pale malts, barley, floral hops and slight grassiness. Flavor is pretty much the same but a bit heavier on the pale malts. Palate is lightweight and light carbonation; Feels a bit watery but easy to drink. It’s alright
