The lightest beer in our family of ales, a slightly malty American Blonde Ale with just a kiss of hops.

Can. Pours a clear straw color with a white head. Almost no aroma. Almost no taste. Palate is very light. I know Keweenaw has a goal to turn beer drinkers into craft beer lovers but this is not how to do it. Busch Light is better.

Tap at Williams. Pint glass. Very light gold with tiny head. No aroma. Neutral in every sense but doesnít have the bad elements of other domestic Crap beer. Pretty average but not terrible.

Smooth, light and mildly sweet. Slick mouthfeel, tastes strongly of honey. Light golden with sweet finish.

From a can quite nice blond presentation and fresh aroma. Quite easy going at first and much better than expected. Yes, goes down easy and seems very fresh. there is even a hint of tartness in there, just barely. No real bitterness in this and that makes it easy for me to enjoy. Overall much better than expected beer experience. Well done.

can. Golden with one finger head. Rather bland. Light body with mild hops. Needs something more flavor-wise.

$3.50 can bought at Three Blind Mice in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. Appearance: Pale/golden sort of yellow color. A two finger head fluffs on top, but doesnít last too long. Not much lacing. Not too bad. Smell: Grassy hay sorts of smells. I have no shame in admitting I donít know the difference between a pilsner and a blonde ale, other than that theyíre only slightly different to me. Slight hoppiness. A bit of breadiness as well. A pretty average-at-best smelling blonde ale, but I wasnít expecting any more. Taste/feel: Like the smell, with a slight hop character with hay, and then a bread characteristic on the finish. The carbonation is medium-high. A pretty decent beer. A good option to session, and the price is right.

Can. Pale yellow with a foamy head. Mild fruity and yeasty aroma. Flavor has a hint of watermelon. Bright and refreshing.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2014 Yellow with a slight haze, filmy white head and no lacing or carbonation. Aroma of pale malts, barley, floral hops and slight grassiness. Flavor is pretty much the same but a bit heavier on the pale malts. Palate is lightweight and light carbonation; Feels a bit watery but easy to drink. Itís alright

Can to shaker glass. Light is the theme. Light pale yellow. Light on the palate. Light malt. Light hops. Still, it is a refreshing beer in an style I donít go out of my way to try.

From the can. Somewhat Belgian yeast nose. Fairly sweet, kind of tart, not bitter. Too carbonated, quite foamy in the mouth to the point where it couldnít be adequately gulped. Interesting, but not interesting.
