Canned thanks to Bob. Poured a hazy medium golden with a tall, sticky cap of white head. The aroma picked up sweet dusty grains and light lemon zest with sweet pale malts.. there wasn’t anything in here that I’d call unpleasant. The flavor had more pale malts at the core with a hint of juicy caramel at the edges.. dry, grassy bitterness played a minor role on the edges.. short, tacky finish. Light-bodied, but not watery on the palate.. nice final impression of lemon zest on the finish.. not necessarily a good beer, but definitely drinkable.

Apr 22, 2008 Can from Belo Vino. Poured a clear deep amber with an average frothy white head that diminished slowly with fair lacing. Medium sweet hoppy citrus aroma. Medium body. Moderate hoppy bitter flavor with an light bittersweet finish of medium duration.

Apr 15, 2008 Thanks to Skyview! Golden color with a thin head. Very light aroma of malt and maybe a marshmallow sweetness. Ditto in the taste. Some floral hop dryness on the finish. Probably one of the only Golden/Blonde Ales I have happily drank the entire bottle/can of.

Apr 9, 2008 Poured a very light yellow. The can said it had a "kiss of hops", but it was more probable like a brief grazing. It smelled pretty mediocre and tasted worse. I’m guessing that the fact that this "craft" brew was made in a can didn’t help the taste at all, but I couldn’t pull any flavor out of this one at all. Just like another macro. I could barely handle one, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.

Mar 1, 2008 Pint on tap at the Mariner North in Copper Harbor, MI. It’s hard to believe that such a fine looking bar in such a perfect vacation spot doesn’t have better beers on tap, but this was about the pick of the litter. Boring in every way. Pours yellow, average head, smells like beer, tastes like beer. Not carbonated enough and really, really boring. After this, I switched to bottled craft and import beers with much better results. If you’re ever at the Mariner, try the prime rib sandwich or the beer battered lake perch.
