Rusted_Halo (11), USA Mar 1, 2008 Pint on tap at the Mariner North in Copper Harbor, MI. It’s hard to believe that such a fine looking bar in such a perfect vacation spot doesn’t have better beers on tap, but this was about the pick of the litter. Boring in every way. Pours yellow, average head, smells like beer, tastes like beer. Not carbonated enough and really, really boring. After this, I switched to bottled craft and import beers with much better results. If you’re ever at the Mariner, try the prime rib sandwich or the beer battered lake perch.
MI2CA (1099), Noblesville, Indiana, USA Sep 29, 2008 12oz can -Aroma is light malts, straw and a little grassy hops. Light cloudy yellow with a small head and decent lacing. Flavor is refreshingly light. The malts and touch of hops are balanced. Palate is clean. The numbers aren’t high, but it is a great summer beer. Canned for the beach, camping or whatever else. gws57 (995), Saint Charles, Illinois, USA Sep 22, 2008 Found this one canned at Dan’s Liquor in Plover, Wisconsin. Hazy golden yellow pour with a nice and grainy nose with a little citrusy hoppiness, dry, yet a bit malty, with citrus and some tropical fruit. Nice crisp finish. For a golden blonde, this was pretty good. ratman197 (2344), Arvada, Colorado, USA Aug 22, 2008 Can poured a clear yellow with a lasting white head. Aromas of straw, light bread and light citrus. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of straw, light bread and a hint of citrus with a smooth lightly dry finish. jbuzz (507), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 5, 2008 A friend brought a can back from a camping trip to the UP.
Bright cloudy color with a nice head. Crisp and refreshing. phishpond417 (1456), Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA Jun 16, 2008 Poured a clear golden colour with a small frothy white head. Aroma is of light roasted malts, soft hops and slightly grass. Taste is rather boring, but clean, crisp and filling.
