2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle pours cloudy dark yellow color with white head. Aroma is belgian yeast and some citrus. Flavor is belgian yeast with some lime flavoring on the finish. Light mouthfeel. Not too bad considering. My wife seems to like it.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
UPDATED: MAR 26, 2009 12 oz bottle from Daknole local trade. Hazy orange amber with a fluffy white head that completely disappeared. Smell is minty wheat and Belgian yeast. Cloves, ginger, and white grapes on the nose. Thick in the mouth and sweet. I could drink this ice cold on a hot day. Yeast finish. Not bad as far as wheats go. Thanks Dak.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Gift brought back from Florida by a friend. Pours a pure white head. Golden body with lots of carbonation. Light yeast aroma which reminds me a lot of Barbasol shaving cream. It’s a little strange. Very thin body. Flavor is good, with a nice yeastiness to it and very little of the fruit I expected
considering the ingredients on the label. Aftertaste and palate finish off with dried orange peel flavors.

this is definitely one of the better American made wheat beers. a touch of citrus flavor but not tart nor overpowering, golden honey and some wheat. pour semi clear with little fizz.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with daknole. Pours a cloudy yellow gold with a thin-moderate white head that lasted through the first two sips and left just a bit of lace. Pleasant tropical aroma of banana, orange and lemon. The flavor is mostly dominated by wheat grain with some mild banana emerging towards the finish. The wheat flavor lingers on the palate well after the swallow. I could see myself drinking this on a hot summer day.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Opaque dull blonde. Footy-limey yeast nose. Fresh, fruity taste. Limey and wheaty with enough malt for balance. Actually quite refreshing.

12oz from daknole. Why wouldn’t they make southernmost pointer porter or southermost pilsner? Come on work with the name and illiteration. Pours yellowy with a bright white head. Nose is wheaty and light. Taste is eh ok.

Bottle sampled at the brewery. Sour wheat aroma. Cloudy yellow with some foam. Heavy carbonation and demonstrated in the bubbles. Corriander, orange peel, and infused lime taste. Thin mouthfeel.

3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Surprised this is not rated higher. Poured golden with a thick, rocky, two-finger head that dissipated quickly. Cirtusy, lemony, aroma with a hint of hops, very nice aroma. Flavor was spicey with peppery, corriander, banana and fruity notes throughout the glass and no hop character. An interesting and complex beer, very well brewed in my opinion, but lacking in mouthfeel (biggest flaw).

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dirty straw yellow with a thin white head. Spritzy lime/orange peel and yeast nose. Refreshing light spice and orange peel flavors, with lime (although that may be suggested by the label). Some white sugar sweetness and a clean lemonade finish. Thin for a wit, but flavorful and would be better on a hot summer summer day. Thanks to daknole for the bottle.
