Grumbo (1519) - Ipswich, Suffolk, ENGLAND - OCT 21, 2016
Bottle from Total Wine, Tampa. Pours a hazy pale gold with a short lasting white head. Aroma is sweet, wheat, light citrus, quite yeasty. Medium sweetness to taste, light bitterness with a slight sour edge. Body is quite light, some stickiness ot texture. Finish is sharp, with a generally weak feel. Started out ok but wouldn’t want another come the end.

bubbleflubber (2167) - Asheville, North Carolina, USA - MAY 11, 2016
Pours a translucent yellow into the glass with a fizzy head that leaves no lacing of which to speak. The nose is of wheat and mixed grains. Flavors are of limes, grains and dry spices. The mouthfeel seems thin and seltzery, not completely devoid of substance, but with little complexity and a weak body. It’s ok for a lawnmower brew if something better isn’t available, but not the greatest example of a Belgian Wit out there.

Cybercat (5173) - Georgia, USA - NOV 11, 2015
Pours hazy solar yellow with a thick, frothy and persistent eggshell head. Aroma has nice wheaty and yeasty tones plus a hint of citrus. Flavor echoes the aroma and adds a bit of spice, while the citrus element features a bit of lime. Texture has thin body but some good fizz. OK, but brings a little summer into any season.

Bottle @ Rhinehart’s in Augusta: This one pours a pale orangish color. It has a fairly good white head on it. This one has a good nose: Wheat, spices and a hint of lime. The taste is also good. Wheat, spices, a hint of lime. Better than I expected to be. I would definitely buy it again. Very refreshing.

BOD 150/14. Pours a hazy golden with a touch of amber. World class retention, outstanding head volume and lacing. World class nose of coriander, a nice citrus sprightliness that is lime heavy with notes of orange, a general subtle spiciness from the wheat, yeast and a touch of biscuit. Light medium body with a very smooth texture. World class carbonation with good effervescence in the middle and a rousing prickly punch in the finish. The flavor profile is outstanding - quite intense, nicely complex and well balanced. It begins with a rush of coriander that yields to clove. Phenolic clove slowly fades into the middle citrus elements - tart lime that flows into a subtly sweet orange. Wheat makes an appearance as the background over which the finish begins - slightly grainy and cracker like. The finish is a slow fade of coriander, clove and lime.
