3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 olympian (107) - USA - APR 1, 2002
I can remember the greatest lunch I ever ate in my life - in a bar in Key West called ’Two Friends Bar’.
This was the ale I had with my superb seafood platter. Does that inflate my rating? Probably, but this was an excellent ale!
Recommended.

About the only good thing about going to a Jimmy Buffet restaurant. I would have guessed it was a Pale Ale based on the color and flavor, but then again I don’t know much about American Blonds. Anyway, it went well in the Florida setting, and I think they hit the nail on the head in the marketing department, because I can definitely see sitting on a beach watching the sunset with one of these.

Has a hoppy aroma with a bitter aftertaste. Not a bad beer, but I wouldn’t go out of my way.

A non special pale ale, thin and with the same hop aroma of the lager. i would buy when I am in the Keys tosupport the local brand over the nationals, but would not buy it outside the keys.

An adequate American Pale, nothing great. Deep gold color. Some moderate malt and hop presence. Finishes a bit thin and watery, but is refreshing and clean tasting.

A nice little beer from the most humid place on earth. This was very refreshing and malty. Bready and filling.
