On draft before dinner. Poured a mostly clear golden amber color with a small white head. Aroma was light caramel notes, some mild earthy hops. Aroma reminds me a bit of my homebrew. It’s not bad, just seems a bit unrefined, and lacking in real crispness. Hate to think it was the tap lines. It was certainly acceptable, clean enough to finish throughout the rest of my meal but I wasn’t clamoring for a second one.

Light Amber pour with some sweet grains, mild bitterness. Light and uneventful body. Pretty much a bland ho hum ale.

Serving: from bottle--purchased at Walgreen’s. Aroma: light malt. Appearance: small, frothy, white, initial head with fair lacing and mostly diminishing longevity. Clear, light-amber body. Taste: lightly sweet, citrusy initial flavor and lightly bitter, nutty finish with short duration. Palate: medium bodied with watery texture and lively carbonation. Overall: not bad. Thirst quenching with some noticeable flavor.

A very good alternative to a bud heavy or MGD. Very crisp light but not to light taste. Finishes well and goes down smooth. Above average ale.

Pours a clear golden copper on tap with minimal head or lacing. Aroma is bready malt with hints of caramel and chocolate. Taste follows with a dry biscuit lingering finish. Nothing all that crazy, but a nice easy drinker.

Transfer from BA review on 11-1-12- Poured from bottle into pint glass Appearance – Pours an amber color with some light red tints. Upon pouring there is a one finger white head that has a rather decent retention. Upon fading the head gives way to a nice level of lacing. Smell – The aroma is almost none existent. All I can pick up are some lighter notes of a bready nature mixed with a tiny biscuit and hop Taste – The taste begins with a dry biscuit and bready flavor. These flavors remain throughout the taste, but only very light changes are in the taste otherwise. A lighter citrus and grassy flavor comes to the tongue more toward the middle of the taste. It starts out light and grows slightly stronger toward the end with a light caramel flavor coming to the tongue. In the end a bready and lightly bitter flavor is left to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is rather light to medium in creaminess and thickness with a carbonation level that is rather average. Decent for the crisper and bitter flavors and makes it rather easy to drink. Overall – Nothing really all that great. Pretty bland in the taste department and lacking any complexity or nose. Nothing to really go out of your way for.
