downender (1616), Bristol, Gloucestershire, England May 18, 2008 Cask-conditioned at the Old Green Tree, Bath 18/5/08. Amber coloured with a slight, off-white head. Fruity malt aroma with a touch of earthy hops. Flavour had more malt, with an enjoyable dusted chocolate edge and a decent bitter finish. Drinkable. Copper brown color, small off-white head. Light, sweet aroma. Flavor is interesting combination of honey, ash and nutty malts. Ashy hops in the short aftertaste. Strange brew.
