Single 355 ml can from the Bin of Misbegotten Beers at Park Lane Liquor Store, served in a Big Rock footed lager glass. Number two in my mini-series of light lager reviews. Pours a moderately-carbonated, light straw hue with the usual macro "blink and you’ll miss it" head of pearly white, leaving only dots of lace. Nose is sweet grain, apple juice, a bit weedy, and a little corny. Taste is sweet grain, souring just a tad as it goes, with hints of corn and a kind of petroleum/alcohol mix. Thin and oily as expected, with nothing lingering for very long. As the old saying here goes, "...only if it were offered to me." Mildly unpleasant, but thankfully nowhere near Minhas’ levels.

There is some flavour there but I am unable to really identify it. It’s strange, I mean it’s only 1% below an average beer in alc, but 100% below a flavourful beer.

This is like canned water with a light beer essence, very uninteresting, disappointing.

30 rack from back in the day. Drank straight from the can. Corny, light swill with no hops to speak of. An alcohol delivery system at best. Horrific by any modern beer standards.

Purchased a 30 can box of the "hunting camo" hued cans at the Hopple Street BP station in the Camp Washington neighborhood of Cincinnati, Ohio for the minor price of 16.99 bucks - Alright, this is a watery, mild "American Standard" style brew, but nothing particularly good.

Good budget beer, for a party where everybody is gonna be drinking your beer and you don’t want to spend a fortune.

Given to me. They must not like me very much. Appearance is worse going in than coming out. There was a head, briefly. Aroma, polluted water and grain. Taste is that of regret and astringent aftertaste. Light body and there is carbonation. The can was a "hunting season camo can" so that could be worth a point. At least it’s not offensive when it’s cold.

Transfer from BA review on 11-6-13- Poured from can into a pint glass Appearance – The beer pours a clear lighter straw color with a small white head of one finger height. The fizzy head fades very rapidly, leaving almost no lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is almost non-existent with only the lightest hints of some grain and a bit of corn. Taste – The taste begins with a light grainy taste with some corn sweetness and a rather strange sour lemon flavor. The sour flavors grow stronger as the taste moves on with the sweeter and grainy flavors losing strength. A bit of a papery flavor joins the flavor at the end, leaving a somewhat drier and rather odd sour and papery taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel –The body of the beer is very light with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. Both are rather appropriate for the style and helps hide some of the off flavors a bit and makes it a somewhat more refreshing and easy drinking. Overall – Nothing really good about it. Even for a light beer this one is a weak overall due to the sour and rather off flavors of the brew.
