3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 hawthorne00 (1858) - Melbourne, - SEP 25, 2010Cloudy gold, snow-white head that fades but leaves thick lacing. Aroma has citrus hops, orange, sugar, brioche. Taste has upfront white pepper and coriander with some sugary sweetness, peaches and pears and a little doughy yeast. Carbonated mouthfeel. No great depth, but a refreshing and balanced tripel.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 77ships (2159) - Antwerpen, BELGIUM - MAY 12, 2013
33 cl. bottle @ home as Keyte Osténdse Triple. Procured from Willems. BBF 04/11/2014 @ apparently 09:37 :) Pours a marketable big brewery, rising bubbles golden with a creamy white head. Nose is typical bigger brewery sized fare of grass, floral bitter notes with some white bread sweetness, almost hint of butter, white sugar, sweet grains with alcohol coming through. Bitter taste with overt notes of medicinal alcohol, cheap hooch style with plenty of grains, grass, bitter Belgian floral notes, white bread and white sugar sweetness. The alcohol comes through to much in a cheap white spirit type of way reminding me a bit too much of cheap hobo swill. Mouth feel is all bubbly like champagne. Typical fare with a nice factory drunkenness assistant flourish to it. I agree.
4.9 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20 corkyrory66 (232) - BELGIUM - APR 25, 2013
Superbe triple d’Ostende.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20 kraddel (851) - deurne, BELGIUM - MAR 22, 2013
Drank as keyte tripel ( bottle in the picture) best before 4 days from now , yes ! Nailed it ! Still at its best !
Pours guzze blonde , rather small foam , regular stability
Smell is kinda aged ...
Malts , a strange twist of intresting sweetness
Again , to much carbo ! Damned !
Intresting sweet malty taste . Kinda common , no real diffrence than so many other belgian blonds . But i do enjoy this slightly more .. ( the moment ? The palate ? ) anyway worthy of drinking , not searching

29th November 2011 Noted as Oostende Tripel - which is what it says on the label and this RB picture!! Hazy pale gold beer with a little white head. Softish palate with a little carbonated nip. Semi dry. Typical sweet and spicy malts. Semi dry finish. Standard tripel but done well.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Idiosynkrasie (1844) - Bielefeld, GERMANY - DEC 9, 2012
330ml bottle [Oosténdse Tripel, 7.7% abv]. Clear dark golden colour with average, frothy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Unspecific fruity and minimally spicy aroma, roughly grapes, gooseberry. Taste is minimally sweet, slightly tart fruity, minimally spicy, a touch of straw.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 Swaroga (792) - Brussels, BELGIUM - NOV 17, 2012
33cl bottle. Lovely golden/orange color. A bit cloudy with medium snowy white head. Good looking one. Nose : fruity nose with peach, pineapple and some citron zest bite. Soap and straw. Sip : Smooth and drinkable with creamy texture and fine carbonation. It’s a sweet beer with tart and citrus acid flavor. The esters aren’t overwhelming and well balanced. It’s also well hopped and even it isn’t very bitter it is peppery and citrusy like. It’s a very nice brew and I was expecting nothing less since I tried the quadrupel with the same label.

UPDATED: SEP 24, 2012 Update 24 Sept ’12: Rating from bottle
Rating from tap
Golden colour, white head. Aroma of sewer, overpowering anything nice. Quite sweet flavour, light sour, lots of butter. Finish sewerage, standing water, butter.
Appalling, especially when compared with the bottled version. Has the Keyte-tap been cleaned this century @ Botteltje?
(Draught @ Botteltje, Oostende)
3-3-4-2-8. Total score: 2
Rating from bottle
Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of citrus, malts, sweet fruity, light banana, quite spicy. Quite sweet, light bitter flavour. Fruity. Light bitter finish, citrus and herbs.
Much, much better than the draught version I had before.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 altonbrownd (4210) - Brussels, BELGIUM - SEP 4, 2012
On tap at Brussels Beer Festival. Nice blondy beer with large head. Nose of sweet, fruits, bananas, herbs. Quite carbonated. Taste is also hops and pine with some malts and fruit flavours. Nice and complex. Quite spicy too. Interesting combinations.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 dutchbeerpages (1086) - Wilnis, NETHERLANDS - JUL 24, 2012
this beer doesn’t look that special and for the most part it isn’t. The finish is quite subtle with some banana and cloves and other spices. This is the very nice part of the beer. Not a winner, but definitenly a nice beer. Bottle from De Schans.
