COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heller High Water is a Pale (hell) straw coloured Bavarian Lager. Brewed with German malts, German noble hops and a genuine Munich yeast. High Water is a classic example of the session beers enjoyed in Bavarian beer gardens. Our seasonal offering has a clean malt flavour with a slight hop presence, perfectly balanced for Summer quaffing. Come Heller High Water, you will enjoy this beer. The Story While paddling down the Ottawa River (aka the Kichesippi), you will enter into a set of rapids know as Lower McCoy’s close to the town of Beachburg. Just to the right of the rapids is a metal ruler bolted to a large rock that displays to paddlers whether they are about to experience High Water or not.

Can. Medium golden hue, average white head that actually retains nicely. Clean grains, light but distinct grassy hops, low bitterness. Actually very good.

Can from RCSS. Hazy pale yellow with a tiny white head that fades quickly to a sheet. Nose is light caramel malts and honey with some floral and grassy notes. Moderate fruity sweetness with just a slight lemony bitterness as well as a touch of pepper.Mouth is medium- and a bit chewy with slightly soft carbonation. 6+/3/7/3+/13

Pours a clear gold with a fluffy white head. Aroma of melanoidin malts, cereal, toast and some fruity esthers. Taste is much of the same with a crisp and smooth finish... Excellent and malty helles but light to make it a great sunny day beer.

can. Poured clear light amber with a big white foamy head. Aroma is crisp grainy malt. Light body, average carbonation, light bitter finish. Flavour is grainy with slight bready malts, notes of lemon and herbal hops.

pours clear bright gold with a small white cap offering minimal retention and lacing. spicy honeyed maltiness - low bready character, subtle floral and spicy noble hops, dusty and creamy, white pepper, hint of cardboard, clean german yeast. light carbonation, light body, relatively dry grassy-spicy-herbal finish. low lager character and under-used bready malts but fortunately quaffable and flawless.

Panic purchase at the LCBO brings this hella cool Helles (sorry, had to do it) to the glass & I couldn’t be more happy with the results. Was expecting a typical underwhelming Ontario craft beer stab at the classic German style & instead we get this tasty brew. Very bready & thick with grains, with a clean finish. Carbonation is a little too twerked & maybe the malting is a bit too sweet (as the beer warms you get this) but all in all this is great. Would take this over the banal trendy death trip of the watery session IPA any day. Recommended.

473 ml can from the LCBO. Pours a nice golden colour with a generous white head. Aroma is grain. That’s about it. Taste is malt, grain. Decent lager.

473 mL can. Not-quite transparent gold with a decent white head. Grainy, grassy aroma with some yeast in there as well. Malty flavour. Sweetish. Not getting much else. Soft carbonation. Okay.

LCBO can. Hits the style, but still yellow fizzy stuff. Mild bitterness. Decent drinkability. Bit much carbonation.
