On tap at the Kieler Brauerei. Served a hazy dark brown color with a creamy head and lots of lacing. Nice aroma of roast malt and caramel with a trace of sweetness. Mild sweetness with a roasted malt and what seemed like burnt caramel with some bitterness and a dry finish. Medium body quite smooth and creamy. Most enjoyable of beers at the brauerei. Nothing fancy, nice for the style and good for a few.

Tap @ Kieler Brauerei. Pours a dark caramel ruby body with a medium sized light creamy caramel head leaving massive lacing down the glass. Aroma is not to extreme. Notes of something sweet, light roasted and something bearing resemblance of flowers. Light oily to sticky mouthfeeling and softly carbonated. Tastes light sweet, mild roasted, lots of roasted caramel and it has a mild flowerish aftertaste. Decent beer.

Draught at the brewpub. It is hazy brown-red with a creamy head and the aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and light licorice. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of licorice, caramel and it has a slightly roasted and citrus-like bitterness in the slightly dry finish.

Draught. Softly malty aroma. Brown colour with a red shine. Stable, rocky, light brown head. Good maltiness in the flavour. Slightly roasted, low bitterness. Appropriately thin mouthfeel for a Schwarzbier. Mild carbonation. A mild beer, but it goes down well.
