Papsoe (9980), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 30, 2008 (Bottle 72 cl) Courtesy of Storm. 16% ABV in my version. Clear golden - almost crystal clear. Spicy, vanilla-like aroma. Medium body, soft mouthfeel. Accents of fruit and vanilla and a rather alcoholic and warming finish. Nice one. 190408 yespr (6162), Copenhagen O, Denmark Apr 20, 2008 72 cL bottle. Pours clear and pale white with no head. Light woody and spiced alcohol aroma. Flavour is light liqourice and dry. Ends with a dry liqourice note. Again an ouzo like thing. It will take quite some time for me to learn to appreciate these kind of drinks. sk8viking (6078), Copenhagen, Denmark May 4, 2008 Bottle. A water coloured sake. The aroma and taste is of licorice, much like ouzo. Medium body with a dry finish. BückDich (4525), Boise, Idaho, USA Jul 29, 2004 Bottle @ RBSG 04 Grand Tasting Light beige color, oily coating. Aroma of bananas, humidity, pears, peach, honey dew melon & lots of anise. The flavor has a light sweetness that is so subtle, almost like +1 or +2 on the meter. The tail is warm but brief & dry, a fantastic Daiginjo. fonefan (4328), Ulfborg, Denmark Aug 14, 2008 Bottle 72cl. Clear white color with virtually none head. Aroma is alcohol, some fruity notes ala melon and peach skin. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. (130608)
