| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | May 13, 2008 This looks like any other glass of water in the pour, very cool and clean, with a hint of licorice and alcohol in the nose. The alcohol really takes a lot of heat on the top of the palate in this one. Its very light and delicate and somewhat sweet with some great acidity. I would love to enjoy this with food. | 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 20, 2008 72 cl. Bottle [Thanks to Storm] this was my first sake, and what a great experience. Quit different than anything else that I have tried. Very watery pale yellow looking, but with somewhat of a glow. Aroma was quite difficult to describe, but what I picked up was menthol, liquorish, vegetable. Over the palate came alcohol, vegetable, strange floral feel, some flower. Full bodied with an alcoholic texture.
Alcoholic flower like finish. My first Sake was a very interesting experience. Would have liked it with Sushi.
