sk8viking (6028), Copenhagen, Denmark May 4, 2008 Bottle. A watercoloured sake with no head. It taste much like ouzo, licorice and alcohol. Medium o full body with a alcoholic finish.
Papsoe (9656), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 30, 2008 (Bottle 72 cl) Courtesy of Storm. Pours a hazy, greyish golden with no head. Soft, sweetish rice aroma. Medium body with a soft mouthfeel, notes of aniseed and fruit. Pleasant and very drinkable. 190408 BlackDonald (610), On a beer trip all over the USA, California, USA May 13, 2008 This looks like any other glass of water in the pour, very cool and clean, with a hint of licorice and alcohol in the nose. The alcohol really takes a lot of heat on the top of the palate in this one. Its very light and delicate and somewhat sweet with some great acidity. I would love to enjoy this with food. KimJohansen (2302), Copenhagen V, Denmark May 4, 2008 Hazy watery color with no head. Sweet fruity aroma with honey notes. Sweet flavor with fruity and alchohol notes. Ends with warming alcohol. Grovlam (2904), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 20, 2008 72 cl. Bottle [Thanks to Storm] this was my first sake, and what a great experience. Quit different than anything else that I have tried. Very watery pale yellow looking, but with somewhat of a glow. Aroma was quite difficult to describe, but what I picked up was menthol, liquorish, vegetable. Over the palate came alcohol, vegetable, strange floral feel, some flower. Full bodied with an alcoholic texture.
Alcoholic flower like finish. My first Sake was a very interesting experience. Would have liked it with Sushi.
