Pours hazy copper with a tall soft light tan head that leaves thick lacing. Very metallic flavor, sharp finish that sadly ruins this beer. Roasty earthy caramel and bread at the start. Not heavy, but slightly syrupy finish. The metallic flavor just makes this beer taste stale.

Pours a clear brown with no head.Nothing real exciting here.caramel and coffee on the nose. The flavor was dissapointing.Cold soured coffee with the caramel trying to escape. This reminded me of a great beer that was hidden behind a nasty beer. You can almost tatse the greatness like a big tease but as it just hits your lips its gone and the nasty beer comes back. This ends bad also.Sour and bitter like 5 day old stale coffee.

First time trying this. I bought it at Good Food Market on Washington Blvd in Pasadena - great little Middle Eastern market. Didn’t care for the aroma, but nice dark butterscotch color. Fairly well lasting head - not much lacing though. Beer coated mouth; malty, slightly sweet and syrupy.

Amber body with a small head. Aroma was slightly skunky with some caramel and produce. Sweet, thinner with a nice bitter finish.

Continuing my habit of buying singles based on the fact that there is funky writing on the label. Medium amber, hint of orange, slight head fades to a ring. Aroma not encouraging, a bit of caramel and a vegetal hop note, along with a skunk. Flavor was surprisingly malty, lots of caramel, and a finish with that vegetal hop profile I don’t care for. Fortunately it was more malty than hoppy. Also, the skunk notes were muted. Not my thing really, but not horrible.

Dark Reddish brown color with a thick head. Has a sweet, yeasty taste with a bitter aftertaste. Found it surprisingly refreshing.

(11.16oz bottle) Minimal beige head atop a cloudy dark brown body. Aroma is moderately sweet, caramel, bread. Taste is medium sweet, caramel, finishes with light grassy. Watery light body that lacks carbonation. Could be an old bottle, but I bought it last week and there is no date on the bottle.

Thanks to ernest for this rare sample. Pours amber with a thin off white head. Smells doughy with some rosey notes present. Tastes of yogurt and grapefruit with some mild rasberry notes. Metallic on the finish.

Bottle from ernest. Pours coppery bronze with ruby hints and a rocky light brown head/film that becomes edgy and gives fair lined lacing. Small pockets of bubbles cling to the side of the glass. Malt (grain, hay, straw) and sweet yeast (dough) aromas with a little sour nose and maple notes. Malty and moderately bitter and acidic hops with caramel notes and a dry finish. Medium bodied palate, fizzy and somewhat burpy.

Bottle. Medium brown color. Fair off-white head with little lacing. Sweet malty aroma. Light bodied a bit watery. Light molasses flavor with a hint of bitterness at the finish. Fair.
