Bottle, thanks after4ever! Pours clear warm amber slightly lacy off-white head. Catty aroma. Kinda tough to put this in the Oktoberfest category, more like a malt liquor with caramel and corn in the taste, metal in the finish. The best part of this beer is its looks.

330. Pours crystal clear dark brown with light, loose gray suds. Big, catty, chemically, dry nose. Light, watery, fizzy body. Chemicals, corn, and catboxon the mid-palate. Light dry finish. Led Zeppelin DVD playiing...don’t get any ideas, slick.

Aroma is rather like old pennies and rotting vegetable matter with a good splash of diacetyl. Flavor is Blauugh! with a capital B! Heavy, fairly dry caramel flavor. This is not good.

12 ounce bottle from somewhere in Richmond, VA. A fairly vigorous pour produces a bronze color with a very large head, average head retention and poor lacing. The aroma features dark fruits and nutty notes. Very sweet taste with nutty notes, grain and dark fruits. Bitter finish. Medium bodied.

Bottle from Mazza resturant. Pours a awesome ruby hue with a small white head. The aroma is very nice; rich malts and berries. The taste is very nice; toasted malts, a really rich malt profile, like a german doppel. Also, a really nice fruity aspect, berries mostly. A nice surpirse.

Pours to a hazy dark garnet body with a tall, airy, creamy, lively beige head. Beautiful lacing. The aroma is fruity dusty yeasts and some subtle malt. The flavor is a buttery mess of darker malts, yeasts, and dusty hops. The palate has a lot of butter and carbonation. Yeasts leave a tang in the mouth.

Bottle from Johns Marketplace in Portland, OR--Poured a brown-chestnut-copper body with a small whitish head. Sweet, malty, sticky hops nose. Some coffee and chocolate notes. On the verge of being an amazing beer, but came up just a tad short.

Had this at a Middle eastern eatery last night and am only rating this a s to warn others that might be tempted to try this just to add another country to there list. It was really horrible and tasted like was removed from and ancient Egyptian tomb. It was nasty.

Pours hazy copper with a tall soft light tan head that leaves thick lacing. Very metallic flavor, sharp finish that sadly ruins this beer. Roasty earthy caramel and bread at the start. Not heavy, but slightly syrupy finish. The metallic flavor just makes this beer taste stale.
