Bananamaniac (35), Kristinehamn, Sweden Oct 30, 2007 Can 44 cl bought att Lidl in Kristinehamn, Sweden.
Very similar to the regular Kilkenny, not much difference there. I like the taste quite alot, but it’s a bit too thin for my taste.
Overall, good to drink when you don’t wanna get all fuzzy and still have a decent english ale.
Ljunkan (107), Karlstad, Sweden Jun 25, 2008 Can from Lidl, Karlstad. Probably the most watery beer I’ve ever had. Extremely thin, I wonder have thay manage to do something like this. Someone here wrote it has a watery and creamy palate, and I can agree with that. It’s just that I think that combination is really, really weird. Can
Caramel and some hop bitterness. Strange notes in aroma (perfume?) omhper (10141), Stockholm, Sweden Mar 25, 2008 Updated: Apr 28, 2008Canned (nitrowidget). Clear pale brownish amber, surprisingly brief creamy head. Plastic aroma. Sweet and watery, some roasty malt and soap, sone salt and vegetables. More pleasant finish with balanced bitterness. Creamy water with a bitter edge. Svesse (1499), Hässelby, Sweden Mar 2, 2008 (Canned) Reddish amber colour with creamy off-white head. Fruity nose with apricots, orange, caramel and toasted grain. Somewhere there is a slight hint of smoke. Fruity, sweetish taste with brief notes of orange, caramel and apricots. Rather thin body, very short finish. Very smooth, which in this case equals boring. EHSRanders (661), Randers C, Denmark Jan 16, 2008 Can. Clear dark amber colour with medium creamy white mostly diminishing head. Malty aroma. I really dont like the flavor and palate.
