It started raining in Copenhagen and found shelter at an irish pub. Guinness I had many times and this was the only other interesting alternative that I never tried. Pretty nice. Very very smooth and refreshing. I really enjoyed it.

UPDATED: FEB 22, 2007 On tap and of all places, over in Dubai: Pours a nice red color with the infamous nitro head. Very low carbination. I couldnít detect much of a smell. Anywho, it was a very smooth beer. I did detect some malt and some hops though. I would like to try again and possibly re-rate.

Dark amber in color, it has a bit of hops and malt in the taste and aroma. I had in on tap and it had a long lasting head. Nothing speacial about it, just o.k.

UPDATED: APR 21, 2007 can: I like to think of this as the Forgotten Beer. I always liked this Irish Cream Ale. If you like cream ales then you will love this. Iím amazed how this is sweet and yet bitter. Deep browny red with thick white head. Smells like it tastes, and cascades nicely upon pouring. Refreshing, sweet ale that goes down way too smooth. Mix it up: put down the can of Guinness & pick up the Kilkenny! This is so smooth. How can you rate this cream ale badly? Excellent example of style.

On tap. Cock and Mussel, Winnipeg.
Not the best but not the worst Iíve ever had. Decent colour, pours OK, but the flavour was just lacking something.

Drank this on tap at "Hole in the Wall" on Amsterdamís Leidseplein with Boris. A perennial favorite because of itís strong, smooth taste. Was convinced this beer actually called "Killianís Red."
