2.3 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Can with a nitrogen ball. Nice apperance, creamy nitro head over a light-brown/amber body. Fizzy. Almost no aroma, slightly sourish and dry malty flavor. Some bitterness in the finish. Light-bodied, smooth and boring.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JAN 31, 2009 Draught. I typically rotate this with Guinness depending on my mood in the standard issue Irish pubs found stateside. Another classic that delivers predictable quality every time.

Much more enjoyable than Guiness, with a floral aroma , even if its a bit watery in the mouthful...

5 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 20/20
This beer is my favorite. I drink it in Ireland and Canada instead of Guinness. Good on tap and also from cans (poured into glass, of course).
It has a great malt flavor, with a nice slightly tart finish.

Nice full creamy mouth feel. To speak the truth, this is so widespread beer, I’ve gotten a little tired of it. I’d rather see some other brands once in a while on irish pubs. Actually I still rememnber when you got this carbonated from tap in Finland. I kinda prefered that to the creamy still version.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Light brown in colour. Head was creamy and thick. This Ale was dry hoppy and crisp in taste. Aroma was slightly grassy. Medium bodied with a light-medium bitter finish. Refreshing to drink.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Great looking beer in the glass, darkish with a thin white head that hangs around for the entire glass. Very, very smooth and creamy going down. Certainly lives up to the ’cream ale’ tradition. The only negative, and it is very small, is a slight bitter aftertaste. I truly enjoy this beer and love seeing it on tap when I enter a new pub.
