Tap. Dark reddish-amber color. Thick, creamy off-white head. Sweet, malty, yeasty aroma. Rich malty, sweet caramel/brown sugar, hoppy flavors. Crisp, smooth, creamy palate. Dry finish. Nice stuff, an easily sessionable beer.

Tap. Nice white creamy head. Light brown body (champagnebrus), not too nice. Fresh and distinct aroma. The head tastes actually strawberry ice cream. Other than that the beer tastes ok and fresh. Tad of bitterness in the finish. Tastes better in Ireland than in Norway. (Forum Bar Dublin, 17.03.07)

Draught. Poured copper/red with a creamy long lasting head. Malt aromas with a hint of grain. Good malt flavours come through which give way to a nice bitter hop finish.

Huge head on this beer. Caused by Nitrogen explained my friend Piscator. Had this immediately following the Little Scrapper IPA, so was a bit underwhelmed by it. Still, it was better than i expected.

There was a period in my life when I used to drink this on tap quite a bit. Nutty with a bit of hops but now I donít drink nitrogen beers. Page 257 of Michael Jacksonís Great Beer Guide only 353 out of 500 Classic Brews to go.

On draught. Irish Ale and nitrogen bring out the worst in eachother. Faintly malty, with no complexity. If in the market for a commercial Irish Ale, go with Smithwicks.

Your typical nitro beer look and smell. Which is, a nice creamy head which sits ontop of a copper body, and practically no aroma to speak of. Tasty beer, though, malty bitter, smooth and creamy. Top notch beer to sit around and enjoy with friends.

A thick, heavy, creamy head tops the clear brown liquid. Almost no aroma to talk of from this nitro-keg pint but the taste is mildly bitter with a smooth malty flavour that is significantly more dominant than the hop. Texture is perfect and it feels like cream in the mouth.
