A smooth creamy sweet ale. Still pretty thick. Notes of honey and almonds. Goof stuff for a chnage every now and again.

Almost white head. Dark amber body. I donīt think this beer has so much tast actually. But there is a tuch of hops and a litte bitter aftertaste.

Even when I was dumb enough to think nitro-dispense beers were cool I didnít like Kilkenny. Doesnít smell of anything, has a toasty, vanilla ice cream malt presence but is ultimately watery and unfulfilling. No faults, but really lacking any character. Still, itís often the best beer available at stupid Irish-themed pubs (itís a toss-up with Guinness.)

Amber color, light malty aroma and bitter taste, full body, light bitter dry finish.

Big creamy head on a deep amber brew. In a word, this was just watery without much flavor. Decent fruity aroma. Dry, aspirin bittering. Bland, with virtually no aftertaste.

Got a bottle of this in Heidelberg, Germany in June 2001. I was impressed by the smoothness enough to remember it almost two years later. Very satisfying.

Looks really nice - a earthy amber colour with a thick, creamy head. Not much aroma, presumably thanks to the nitro. Body is so creamy that it practically slides down your throat. Flavour is well balanced, but pretty undistinguished.

Promises alot - looks great - lovely across the lips and onto the tongue, then loses impact with no real body or aftertaste. I left disappointed.
