Denne Kilkenny har et klart rřd-brunligt udseende med et tykt hvidt skum. Řllen har en sřd aroma og smager sřdt af karamel med en maltet smag. Lav karbonering.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 15A). Bottle 33 cl - Batch L5281GF002. AROMA: grainy malt aroma with very faint background caramel. no hop aroma discernible. APPEARANCE: ambar orange color and cristal clear. moderate to moderate-low off-white head with medium to medium-low retention. TASTE: low malt flavor with a slight grainy note and a faint caramel presence. low bitterness with no hop flavor and a semi-dry finish. PALATE: low body with medium-high carbonation. no diacetyl detected. OVERALL: an irish red ale with less caramel present, less bitterness and less diacetyl, resulting in less body. average, nonetheless.

50 cl can. Nice hiss at the opening. Pours pretty much like a Guinness Draught, but the beer itself is clear golden brown, medium, tan coloured, creamy foamy head created by using nitrogen instead of co2. Aroma of caramel and nuts Mouthfeel is silky and smooth, low level of carbonation. Flavours of caramel, toffee and bread, quite sweet at the end. Just an average beer to me, don’t like it that much, to be honest.

Veiled dark copper Extra persistent, thick and creamy, half a finger beige head, lasting more that 20 minutes! Strong legs and a gorgeous pouring with amazing activity slowly revealing the beer. Faint aromas and flavors of toffee, grainy toasty bread, nuts and floral spices with a hint of fruits. Sweet smell but a sharper crisp taste. Creamy medium body and weak carbonation. Short and faint and quite clean finish with a roasted slightly bitter aftertaste. Overall : Visually stunning and...poor in flavors. The craft is good with a nice freshness, but it’s a very soft beer that is overly accessible.

Nice aroma of malt and hay. Flavour is caramel, honey, earth, some floral. Very watery, which in some ways is good because otherwise it’d be too sweet, but it also means the other flavours are way too light. It’s like drinking scented water.

Good appearance, texture but there is a slight lack of taste. Not exactly what I'd expect from the style. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap 500ml in The Irish Harp, Berlin on 22nd Jan 2016. Not be having another one soon! Bland, cold and sweet. Looked a nice looking beer, a red hue to it’s body with a full, deep head. Downhill from there.

Dark clear ruby color with foam layer. The smell is a little ambery sweet. The taste has low carbonation, a moderate mixture of hoppy bitterness and a decent malty body. The aftertaste is calm and rather normal for a red ale. This is a very solid red ale/irish ale, but i suppose it has a little more carbonation from bottle or a better calibrated tap.

440ml can from supermarket. Pours dark red/brown with thick white head. Low carbonation. Aroma is ligh roasted malt, caramel, lightly hopped. Really light sweetness, medium bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, but the taste/aroma is not that intense.
