This beer has a amber body - hue apperance and a coarse white scum collar. I have drunk the beer from the bottle and it had no carbonic acid. The initial flavor taste is very moutig.

Draft. Light and sweet maltiness. The thick and lasting head gives a creamy taste and feel in the mouth. For a ultra-comercial beer, this is quite all right!

EithCubes (5149) - New Jersey, USA - JAN 31, 2006
UPDATED: DEC 9, 2011 Bottled. Chestnut pour with a rocky eggshell head. Reeks of sweet malt, tastes the same with a dash of liquid toast (probably from roasted malt). Ends bitter with a slice of semi-metallic harshness. Creamy, dry, and relatively pleasant, but dumbed-down. [2.9]

Re-rate in late 2011 brings grassier and danker nose notes, heavy moist grains in the direction of the mash. Rest of the old review holds, light body with caramel malt pushing toward cracker. There’s a reason I seem to only drink this abroad. [2.5]

An aroma that is ok, but not proheminent, the appearance is simply extraordinary...in a glass you can see the three stage of color...the beer is creamy and soft. For those of you who have problem to drink bitter beer, try this one, you won’t be dissapointed.

440 ml can. Thick white fine-laced creamy head. Reddish brown color. Low carbonation from nitrogen. Aroma of gently roasted malts and some fruit. Smooth and creamy mouthfeel. Burnt malts. Subdued hop aroma and hop bitterness. Dry aftertaste.

Nitro-can. Nice dark tea-brown with a generous compact head. Faintly toffee aroma. Similar flavours of toasted malt in a lighter-bodied palate. Better than Caffrey’s and much better than Wexford.

Preferred this to Smithwicks, decent beer, although was bitter to finish, but strong beer overall.
