Can (440ml). Wow - canít believe I havenít rated this yet. Gotta love a beer named after cats ... Damned widget can, this really looks great - creamy amber, lasting creamy off-white head. Smells, sweet, grainy, stale and weedy; sharp. Taste - many, I think I can taste the damned nitro - itís weirdly bitter, sugary, with a dead floral aftertaste. Smooth, creamy, dry, not much carbonation at all, odd aftertaste from the widget. This cream ale is incredibly dull and not a lot of fun after a couple of pints .. on tap itís really thin, unless they nitro THAT too ...

440 ml can. pours beautiful dark red/amber/brown. nitrogen ensures you get a beautiful cascade of dancing bubbles in your glass that take a few minutes to calm down but leaves you with what looks to be the perfect beer. aromas are thin but its tough to get anything through that nitro head. flavours are bland. great creamy mouthfeel and very easy to drink but overall its to watery and easy for my taste.

rossa media schiuma non molto profumata prevale il cerale e le note tostate in bocca poco corpo ma con un netto e piacevole sentore di tostato

Sampled at the LCBO Summerhill Beer Festival, Toronto ON. Poured with a heavy hand, that was a definite upside to this particular sample. The first cream ale Iíve ever tried.. not real eager to go back. Kind of a watered-down Guinness with a hint of Smithwicks.

500ml widget can. thick nitro head. nice red color. not much going on with the aroma, just a big thick foam. flavour is pretty weak, and thin, and quite bitter in the finish. meh, pretty middle of the road on this one.

had this on draft in Bahrain 7/10 pours dark, reddish brown, creamy with a 1 finger head that sticks to the side of the glass smells of nuts, spice and hops, good carbination, a small sour smell to it. tastes smooth and creamy, nuts, and slightly bitter, dry on the back of the mouth

Color amber, with a creamy head. The aroma is malty, weak. The flavor reminds the yeast, and a little smoked (toasts). The hop is weak, ultimately the bitterness almost does not feel. (Hop of bad quality probably?). This beer has some strange attachť!. The body is average, rather watery. (Probably it has too much nitrogen). I am not going to say any more.

Nitro-head settled as a creamy, beige, one-finger cap after a quick cascade revealed a deep, clear, rusty-copper body beneath. Muted aroma, yet some dry, toasty malts surface. Flavor finds low malts, low bitters and hints of sweetness at times, but this is mostly just mild and quenching. More "dry" than "fluffy". Touches of lemon and honey add diversity.

Another British ale that just didnít please my palate (yet my friends tell me that someday, my ale will come!). This beer has a darker colour than I normally like (I prefer golden nectars) and a weak aroma. It went down very smooth however. It felt thick in the mouth, very little carbonation. The flavour was alright, very malty.
