3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JAN 19, 2006 Initially milky body, but gradually settles into a clear dark chestnut brown under a creamy off-white medium head. Looks lovely. Very faint aroma of sweet caramelly malts. Taste is clean and light, quite sweet, notes of licorice and treacle. It gives way to a faintly bitter aftertaste, with a vague hop taste. Very mild, and not really very interesting. (From can.)

Can. Amber color and a steady head. Nice malty aroma. It feels flat in the mouth but has a discreet caramel and malt flavor with a slightly bitter finish.

2.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 10/20
Copper/amber with yellowish small head (at least on the real draught).
Sourish and funky in a bad way.
Smells of hops and malt.
Bitter in a blunt and dull way.
Very slimy and smooth, too weak and too Irish for my sensitive tongue.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
in can. Long lasting medium head. Not impressed by the color, seemed too clear for a cream ale. Strong malt taste. Dosen’t stay too long in mouth. This beer is not very creamy. A beer i will rate in 1 word, ORDINARY.
