440ml Nitro Can from SuperValu (Ireland - £1.69):
Bland malts and a little sweetness from some brown sugar, there is a very faint and almost water like smell with some bitterness at the end.
Thick and quite creamy too before settling to a dark caramel brown colour with a very creamy, darkish white head on top that is about the width of a pinky and holds very well.
Bland with some malts and light caramel flavours and a sugary sweetness following this. There is a burnt toast and nutty flavour. The beer is quite bitter and very creamy.
Creamy with a medium to full body yet it still feels slightly watery. The beer seems quite bland and there is almost no carbonation with some small amounts of bitterness at the end.

Great looking beer when poured and settled but everything else about it was fairly average sadly. The aroma was bland and unexciting, definitely not an ale worth looking out for. Iím not sure if it would be better on draft and Iím not sure if I really want to find out either. It was drinkable and the nitro can was a plus.

0,33l bottle. Hmmm, not bad at all, but quite thin and watery. Somehow I remembered this beer as a better one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

33cl bottle in Bali. Aroma of sweet malt. Nice red brown colour with a cream coloured head. Medium carbonation. Slightly sweet taste of malt and caramel, and bitter in the aftertaste.

On tap from Victoria Pub, Copenhagen, DK. Brown with a thick and fully persistent creamy, off-white, grey-ish head. The aroma is yeasty, fruity, caramel, and malts. The taste is medium sweet, subdued bitterness. The palate is creamy, very smooth, like oak-aged. Nice and very drinkable.

Tap@Dubliner, Copenhagen - dark reddish pour with a creamy off-white head. Aroma and taste is light toasty bready malty, vague caramel, some very light hoppy notes way in the background. Not for me.

Aroma: The smell is sweet malty, brown bread somewhat nutty.
Appearance: The beer is clear dark brownish amber, big bubbles, a rather small head, and some lacing left on the glass.
Taste: We have an upfront, brown sugar, sweetness, then taste of dark bread some sour notes, and a rather metallic bitterness at the end.
Palate: Rather high carbonation, medium light body, a bit fizzy, and a sharp dryness.
Overall: Iím not a fan of Irish Red, and Kilkenny does not really improve that view.
Note: Bottle Reviewed 2010-07-13.

With a creamy flavour of a Guiness but much less filling this is beer differentiates itself from the majority of mass produced beers!

Bottle. Clear dark copper color with white head which disappears quickly. Some fruity sweetness in aroma. Balance towards bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation. Easy drinkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The classic (and most commercial) Irish red, tasted from tap and from bottle. Warm copper colour as custom for the style, creamy, stable head. Caramel and toasted bread in the nose, dried fruits, dry taste with thin and smooth mouthfeel, low carbonation and toasted bitterishness in the finish. Okay for its style I guess, but nothing I can thoroughly enjoy.
