Clear brown with quickly vanished white head. Aroma is bubblegum, sweet apple, smoke, some red wine stuff. Taste is mostly apple sourness, and esthery bitterness. Creamy mouthfeel, medium body, easy to drink. Ok but not great.

Pint on tap. Pours clean ruby-copper, tan head. Aroma is redcurrant, cherry, bisquit. Taste is soft, lo-carb, slightly sweet. Los-lingering finish with little bitterness.

473 ml can. Pouring this one fast and then drinking into the foam is a always a classic. Aroma is of caramel and sweet. Alcohol is very thin. Carbonation disappear quickly and remains faint. Body is light with a thin oily texture. Has a pale amber body.

Can from market. Very nice looking beer with big creamy white head. Aroma and taste both seem to be a little lost. It is very smooth but too watery.

Lovely dark amber/reddish pour. Creamy smooth head. Almost no aroma whatsoever. This beautiful looking beer is very disappointing taste wise. Hoppy water is about all I can describe. Looks much better than it is. On tap @ The Brazen Head, Dublin, Ireland.

Always a pleasure to have one of those. I like the thickness and the nice malty flavour.

330ml bottle at Müller’s Pub, Hohenems. Aroma is light malt, light raisins. Appearance is clear, dark red to brown with a small brown-ish foam. Taste is light sweet, light sour. Medium carbonation, light dryness. Good.

hauxe (313) - Butzbach, GERMANY - MAY 28, 2016
Pours reddish brown from the bottle. The off white crown fizzes and disappears. A sweet caramel aroma greets the nose. Taste is malty with roasted notes. An initial sourness turns sweeter, with faint honey notes, before ending with a totally uneventful finish. A somewhat stale aftertaste lingers afterwards. The palate is very thin; the carbonation a touch too high. Not something I could picture buying again.

0.33l bottle from kaisers in berlin.
pours a clear deep amber with a fluffy but quickly disappearing white head and little lacing. mild aroma of toasted malts, caramel, hay. flavour of cardboard, pumpkin, nuts. not too sweet, but mostly because it is just watery -- not too much of anything. fizzy carbonation.

Avetixz (88) - GERMANY - MAY 13, 2016
Aroma of caramel malt, bread, toast, resin, spruce, hops, citrus and some yeast. Pours clear dark amber, red liquid with a foamy white head that disappears quickly. Light to medium sweetness and light bitterness with a flavour of malt, caramel, grains, honey, resin and fresh hops. Light body with below-average carbonation, watery finish.
