Big can. Limited choice on a military base prompted me to try this. So, so. I wouldn’t send it back, but I wouldn’t normally go for it. Brown molasses scent of moderate strength. Hazelnut brown, cloudy pour with pristine white head. Watery feel, slightly creamy, but not what I was expecting by the can or brewer’s description. Nutty molasses flavor, pretty weak.

Can, 0.44 l. Dark red, almost brown color. Clear. Medium-big creamy, white head, which is existing till the end of glass. Lot of lacing on glass. In nose there are caramel, tobacco, metal. Intensity of flavor is low, watery. Some bitterness and flavors from british hops (orange, tobacco) with some chocolate notes. Low carbonation. Acrtually, light body but becouse of nitrogen it seems fuller. Overall, it looks beautiful, but taste is boring and mass acceptable.

Fin mørk farge med skum som varer lenge. Kjenner lite til duften, men smaken er fin mef karamellisert malt. God og bløt munnfølelse.

Aroma is caramel malts and mild fruit. The flavor is caramel, malts, fruit and a creamy/nitro finish. Probably could have acouple more points without the nitro.

Drank from a can, usually if I drink out of a bottle or can I give a three for appearance but this can’s head exploded in such a way I am ashamed not to drink this from a pint. The aroma is almost nonexistent. The taste is light, toolight, tastes like it is watered down, but the finish has the characteristic irish red sweetness. A decent beer, Slàinte!

On tap at The Blarney Stone, a cool nitro pour - a deep red with a thick creamy beige head. Oats, biscuit & ash - oh wait that is some dick smoking. Smooth bodied with a creamy caramel biscuit flavor and a bit of tangy citrus. Really nice middle of the road red.

Una ale irlandese, di buona fattura. Colore ramato, con riflessi aranciati, con poca schiuma ma persistente, aromi molto caramellati e fruttati, a tratti erbacei.

Pour from a 14.9oz can with nitro widget. Clear tawny ale with creamy nitro head and lacing. SUbdued aroma of sweet malts. Taste is a little sweet, not distinctively so, watery in the middle and finish. HInts of metal and hints of hops at the very end. Not much here...

Poured from can. Mild aroma of bread. Pours a clear reddish brown with white head. A very light bitter taste. Light body and slick texture. Mild and not as creamy as I expected.
