Nitro-can (440ml). Poured copper coloured with a thick creamy, off-white head which lasted superbly. A light aroma with notes of sweet bread, caramel malts, biscuits and red berries. Flavor was a very light earthy bitterness with caramel malts, gooseberries and some nuts. Light bodied with virtually no carbonation, a watery texture, creamy mouthfeel and a short lived, clean finish.

33cl. Tap. And what not. An alternative to lager. Not an ale. Not a bitter. Not a schwarzbier. Pleasantly carbonated. Slightly malty. Easy drinking. Nothing special. Never was.

A pretty basic ale with not a lot going on. MJ must have been drunk as hell at a great Irish pub to fall in love with this one cause I can’t find anything extraordinary about it. A dry creamy ale that doesn’t go a whole lot of places besides down. Forgettable.

Can - Nice sweet caramel notes. Clear Amber with a beige head. Light caramel and light sweet sugars. Basic, but decent.

Robe ambrée et limpide. Une mousse très épaisse se forme facilement. Arômes café, biscuit, caramel. Léger fumé. Texture crémeuse. Assez longue en bouche. Une bière industrielle honorable.

Tap @ JB. You all know how this pours, that weird foamy thing, turning into a clear mahogany brown, with a clean, dense creamy white head. Aroma is pretty tame, with caramel, sweet malts, weak honey, slighty salty fruits, old and stale hops. Taste is slightly bitter, up front is some sweetness tho. Watery bodied, with a rather flat carbonation. Pretty dark meh to me, easy drinking tho.

14.9 oz widget can, thanks brenn79. Aroma is generic beer, grain, sweet malt. Appearance is typical widget can beauty, with cascading bubbles unfurling underneath a tight cap of bone-white foam, revealing a clear copper liquid after it’s done working its magic. Taste is sweet, grainy. Carbonation is nearly nonexistent but the mouthfeel is nice and creamy. Other than the purty appearance, these uncarbonated widget cans are not for me.
