Nothing special here. The only thing going for this brew is that they got the color right.Weak in flavor all around not worth the time of trying again.

Not all that bad. Good price for a decent red lager.

Light red color, medium head. Light taste, some malts, and slight hops. Light body. Somewhat typical of American mass produced beers, the flavor is turned down of this beer. What’s there is good, but there is just not enough of it. Good balance of hops and malts. Malts are slightly sweet. Mouthfeel is a little over carbonated and a little thin. Finish is clean. Aftertaste is slightly bitter. Not a lot of flavor, what is there is very good, but it needs to be a little more intense.

Yes, Anheiser-bush’s attempt to rip-off Killian’s which is a rip-off of Murphy’s is as you can expect, a mere shadow of what it should be. Flavorless, thin and watery.

Killarney’s caters to consumers who prefer drinking red lagers with cute funny Irish sounding names, and who also think Heineken is great. The rest of us think this stuff sucks.

Oh they almost fooled me on this one - the first time I saw it, I had to look all over the packaging/bottles to figure out who made it - I’m sure some folks were thinkin’ ’hey, we got an authentic Irish beer here!!!!’ The worst thing about this beer is the watery/thin mouthfeel - just so bland and mushy.

Malty, very good macrobrew. Not super hoppy, but pretty well balanced with some caramel, raisin.

Now, I like ’reds’, but I didn’t like this one at all. It looked at smelled like a good red, but tasted god awful. I ended up pouring it down the drain as it was taking up space in the fridge.

I have to say I was very unimpressed with this beer. It poured smooth with a good head with a faint roasted aroma but was flat and boaring to drink. Flavors are not well blended and the malt covers everything. If Killians was the goal they missed.
