Ok. tastes very different from the bottle. I really liked the draft version - will only drink from the tap with this beer.

Overall, not too bad of an effort by AB. Clear copper-red color with a fairly durable off-white head. Some filler corn/rice comes through in aroma and mid-palate, but at least there is some toasted malt flavor present. A mild amount of hops detected in the finish. Was impressed with its very smooth, creamy texture. A decent thirst quencher with some taste.

Bud Red. A-Bís answers to (Coors) Killians. Nice, light malt taste with very little hop bitterness. Overall, fairly decent.

Not great. It kind of tastes like a bad mock of Killianís.

A-B should stick to brewing beer w/o any pretentions of being anything more than a cheap way to get drunk

As far as A-B goes, one of their best. As far as beer goes, not to good.

UPDATED: OCT 1, 2004 The beer evacuates the 12-ounce bottle an orange-red color with a smallish off white frothy head and a thin covering of lace upon the glass. Nose is sweet malt, crisp and fresh to the senses, start is slightly sweet with a thin grain profile, top is light in feel to the palate. Finish is acidic to the max, hops pleasant enough and the aftertaste dry and lingering, I can truthfully say this is at least drinkable as is the Michelob line
