12oz bottle. Poured an amber / orange color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of caramel, pine, resin, and toffee. Tastes of caramel, toffee, citrus, and pine. Medium alcohol in the finish.

Wow, nothing pale ale like about this at all. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark chestnut color with a small foamy orange-tan head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweetish toffee, vague fruity hops, pine and plum. The flavor was bitter and sour nut, toffee, faint rough fruity hops and a bit of pine. Medium length bitter and sour nut, toffee and hops finish. Medium body. Alcohol fairly well hidden. Eh.
