COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bottle Conditioned, no longer sold;
A sweet but mellow flavour contrasted with full hop bitterness and aroma. Its smooth palate disguises the high alcohol content.

Bottle Conditioned (Aged 5 Years). Copper amber with great head. Noting the previous ratings this one was a great beer to age, dry, powerful with a whisky aroma and alcohol kick. Did I say dry, try dry as a witches armpit, well rounded and smooth. All alcohol on the tongue. Ha Ha age those beers!!

(Bottle 50 cl) Normally corn isn’t really anything to take pride in for a brewer, but here this grain seems to be the focus point for "Cornucopia". Slightly hazy golden beer with a gigantic head that refuses to stay in the bottle. Spicy, herbal nose. Flavours contain the same characteristics with a less pleasant phenolic edge and a bitter finish. Quite extraordinary. 260102

SilkTork (4738) - Rochester, Kent, United Kingdom, WALES - SEP 21, 2002
One of the three original bottle conditioned ales saved by Badger after their take over of this ancient brewery. The corn adds an interesting smoothness which makes this a quite pleasant if not outstanding drink.

Amber coloured. Sweet corn aroma mixed with vodka. Overly sweet, weak body, peppery alcohol finish. A badly failed experiment.

Sweet taste of corn but a quite bitter finish. Unbalanced.
