Commercial Description:
Last brewed in early 2000.
A blend of malts give a sweetness and body usual with dark beers but full hopping allows the bitter flavor to come through.

(Bottle) Pours dark brown with a light brown head. The aroma is of mild cocoa-like roast and a mild oxidation alongside light notes of fruits. Light acidic. The flavour is acidic and light fruity with some light cocoa notes. Bit sourish. Light bodied. This bottle was too old.

Hazy redish brown with a small off-white head. Roasted and fruity notes. Some malt taste combined with raisins. Medium body with a short, dry finish.

1998 Bottle. Otto delivers. Dark brown colour, no head, just bubbles. Very light bodied, much is lost here. Also totally flat with caramel notes and madeira. Tad sourish. Low bitterness. Light caramelly in mouth. A lot is lost but it still has the subtle gentleness of an aged porter.
