More of a golden English ale than a German wheat. Golden colour, rather sweet, light bodied. Nothing special.

UPDATED: OCT 8, 2007 Another stale dated retired beer that I found on the shelf at Topper’s Helena Montana. This beer was in better shape than the other King and Barnes beer that bought that day as well. biscuity dryness with a hint of banana and lemons. Page 260 of Michael Jackson’s Great Beer Guide only 351 out of his 500 Classic Brews to go.

Nice gold-blond colored beer with small airy froth and little carbonation. Little aroma’s of wheat, vegetal hops, some citrus and a touch of old dry sherry. Taste is a little thin with hints of oxidized white wine. afthertaste is watery with a vegetal bitterness and a little Noilly Prat = (Dry Vermouth). probably too old.
