Lubiere (3324), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Jan 4, 2006 On tap, July 17, 2005. Light hazy dark dirty amber with no head. Roasted malt with diacetyl notes. Roasted grains in mouth, with medium body. Pleasant Vienna style. Rastacouere (5343), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Jul 28, 2005 Cloudy caramel, light white ring. Interesting caramel and bread nose. Maltiness feels a bit tart and definitely earthy. Soft palate, lasting toastiness is perhaps just a touch too grainy, but this is well made definitely, if a bit watery and fading in carbonation. CapFlu (3339), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Jul 22, 2005 (Draught) Sampled at King Arthur’s Steakhouse in Oswego, NY. Oddly - this beer seems to have floral hoppiness. Pours an almond, frothy head which dissipates into the orange body. Malty with simmering butter. Below average beer.
