FCFB 09. Hazy reddish appearance. Malty but nice hop profile too. A bit of butterscotch in the palate as well. The same in the nose along with some dough.

FCBF 09. I think this is the 2nd one I had in the VIP tent. They told me it was an APA. Very average. Not offensive and not memorable. (very late at the brewfest)

Cloudy light amber, egg shell coloured head, lasting and lacing. Mellow C-hops nose with earthy components. Grapefruity centennial-like soil nuances, dry. Not very agressive on the palate. The bready little malts come out almost smoky, husky and fruity. Light carbonation, medium stale-ish body.

(Draught) Sampled at King Arthur’s Steakhouse in Oswego, NY. Pours a large yellowish-head with an orange body. Nose is hoppy yet acetone. Good alcohol in flavour yet doesn’t carry the multi-dimensional expectation of this style. Tastes as though there is only one variety of hop???
