COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A 6.5% alc lager, Light copper to brown color, with attractive garnet highlights. Strong malt aroma, with moderate amounts of rich melanoidins and/or toasty overtones. Virtually no hop aroma. Well lagered beer, some alcohol may be noticeable but clean. Complex maltiness is dominated by the rich flavors of Munich and Vienna malts, which contribute melanoidins and toasty flavors. Some caramel notes and raison maybe present but not roast flavors.

2013-11-13. Dark red tinged brown, nice beige head. 3++ Flavour is quite malty, sweet malt, caramel notes, dryish malt and light bitterness in the finish. Aroma is similar, caramel kissed dusty malt. Average body is fairly carbonated. Enjoyable, a decent take on the style. Bottle cellared a few months via GregClow.

Aroma: honey, golden malts, solid malt depth , meadow like smooth feel. Clean with slight alcohol notes. True solid bock character.7+
Appearance: lovely dark amber look, long lasting fine creamy top. Presentable. 4-
Palate / Taste: Medium full bodied. Hefty malts, very Euro. No off flavours. Chewy malty , slightly nutty notes with honey hints. Full bodied clean bock. Solid example of style.

Bottle [12oz] courtesy of GregClow. Pours a deep orange-amber with a small lasting frothy tan head. Sweet aroma, almost sugary, along with dark fruit, caramel malt, bread, nuts and maple syrup. Flavour is malty and bready first followed by dark fruit, light brown sugar and light nuts -- not as sweet as the aroma which I appreciate. Light bitter finish. Alcohol is hidden. Average to medium bodied. Not a favourite style but its well crafted. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On draught at Bar Hop. Deep clear mahogany with a large lasting creamy beige head. Smells and tastes quite good -- sweet nougat, maple, nutty and grainy, just a hint of bitterness, not much alcohol presence. Light body, not a that much carbonation. Finishes quick. Tasty, on style, I think.

Pours ok but finishes with unbalanced astringency. Pours clear amber without head or lacing. Aroma Italy and some light hops. Finishes with bitter zest at first then into a caramel cloying sweetness. Tap at Only Cafe.
