1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Drank from a nice 32 oz clear bottle. Shitty clear gold and the white fizz on top. Tastes like corn, cheap grain, and that putrid malt liquor aftertaste. MMmm rating number 19 zero zero.

King Cobra, the Cadillac of 40ís. Smells like rotten grains, tastes like Bud regular that sat in an old can of turpentine.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
40 oz. bottle that I just had to have. Many of my friends had not experienced this gem, so it worked out I guess. Pours clear golden, more like juice than anything. Sweet grainy malt nose, perhaps metal laced fruits. Flavor is more of the same. This really isnít worth rating, but I have so few ticks I thought I needed some fluff.

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20
Clear golden color with a thin white head that didnít last too long. Not a lot of flavor or aroma. OK if it is served COLD and you are thirsty.

Just getting in my ratings for past disasters. These are nasty brews at best.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is kind of an "un-malt liquor" in that it really tastes more like regular, everyday, typical, boring, pleasant beer. At 6.0% abv, however, it plays with the classic big boys of malt liquor... and it plays nice!.. Glug, glug, glug.. Om nom nom nom, glug, glug. Only the "high gravity" bombers (Steel Reserve, Hurricane HG, Olde English 800, St. Ides, etc) can lay a dirty glove on this little Cobra. Ride the punches with this baby snake and you will feel fine!!
Hint: the fresh stuff really does taste better. Read the Julian Date, which is two digits for year (ie, 09 for 2009) and three digits for the day (001 to 365) ...example: 10093 is "10" for 2010 and "093" for April 1st ...the born-on date is April 1, 2010
Strong. Cheep. Drinkable. Game over.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
A: A very pale golden yellow color with minimal white head.
S: Incredibly sweet and sugary. Almost apple juice like.
T: The flavor is definitely analogous to apple juice. A fruity and sugary sweetness that you only seem to find in malílikka.
M: The body is incredibly light and bubbly.
D: Just far too sweet for me, but fairly unoffensive as far the style goes.

1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Pours pale gold with a 1 finger, creamy white head that has great retention because itís sustained by high effervescence. Aroma is grainy malt, sweet corn, freshly ground metal and overripe fruit. Flavor is sweet grainy malt, alcohol, corn, metal and weird vegetal notes. Palate is light bodied and somewhat oily throughout with a medium sharp carbonation. Terrible brew, but I have had worse.

4/29/10. 40z bottle into a rocks glass (donít ask). On the sweet side, a little tinny and boozy. YUMMMMM.

I mean its malt liquor, what can you really expect? Edwards 40 hands is a phenomenal game to play with the Cobra.
