Can. A golden beer with a lazing off-white head. The aroma has notes of malt as well as lighter notes of alcohol. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt as well as lighter notes of caramel and alcohol. Not me.

(Can 47,3 cl) Pours a clear, pilsener golden with a creamy, white head leaving laces. Aroma is one of brewing cereal. Medium body with a flavour of sweet malt and brewing cereal. The mouthfeel is very smooth although it comes out a bit sticky. No bitterness. 200307

Kicking of St Georges Day in our Maui apartment with this 40oz beast, not that I got any where near that much of it, 23/04/14. Clear golden with a moderate off white head that retains well. Nose is pale malt, grain, cereals, sawdust, gents urinal - specifically Bristol Temple Meads station platform 9. Taste improves ever so slightly, hint of caramel, popcorn, sugars, grain, straw, papery. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, sweet grainy close. Pretty Meh indeed !!!

A: A very pale golden yellow color with minimal white head. S: Incredibly sweet and sugary. Almost apple juice like. T: The flavor is definitely analogous to apple juice. A fruity and sugary sweetness that you only seem to find in mal’likka. M: The body is incredibly light and bubbly. D: Just far too sweet for me, but fairly unoffensive as far the style goes.

Grainy, corny aroma. Maybe some grassy hop? White head that fakes a little lacing. Medium mouthfeel. Flavor of corn, rice, what? I thinks there’s some hop. The carb, herb mouth coating tends to make it hard to say. Plus the alcohol really interferes. Given the actual flavor in the finish, maybe that’s a good thing.

Can courtesy Gitta og Erik. Frothy white good mostly lasting head. Yellow colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma, but not bad. Light bitter flavor. Short light bitter finish. Watery palate.

Forty. Pours a clear amber color with a medium sized frothy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of intense corn, booze, faint hops. The taste is apples, corn, paper, grassy hops. Thin bodied. Poor even for a malt liquor.
