Has a light yellow color with some carbonation and a malt/alcohol smell. Taste was suprisingly enough smooth malt and finished pretty smooth. Overall not bad for a $1.99 40oz.

14 aug 2012, bottle. Light yellow, clear, some steady bubbles. Thin body and fizzy. Skunky, sweet cereal malt, crisp bitter finish. I've had lagers like this. Not sure why this is different than a lager. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

16oz can aged to perfection poured into a snifter. Born the 288thsounds day of 2009. Pours a clear, pale gold with a finger of white head. Aroma of corn, grains and sour green apple. Taste is light sweet. Corn and grains with that sour green apple anain and a dose of caramel. Medium bodied with a very smooth texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad for a 3.5 year old malt liquor. My only regret is not having a fresh obe to compare it to.

Probably one of my favorite 40’s I love craft beer but I also like to kill a 40 from time to time ...what kills me is beer snobs putting it down because it comes in a 40oz bottle and isn’t super hoppy or have fruity aromas ...get over yourself beer is beer and I respect all forms ...cheers

16 ounce tall boys are two for $1.19 USD at Carool’s Liquor store in beautiful Camden, NJ. For rating purposes I drank one out of the can and drank the other one out of a shaker glass. I was surprised of the smooth malt flavor after each sampling. Aroma was malt, creamy golden color, adequate head retention. Malt flavor dominates King Cobra. Small detection of chemical alcohol aftertaste. But overall that nasty malt liquor taste is absent from this brew. This is my new favorite A-B product. Best thing I sampled from A-B since their Christmas beer of the mid 90’s.

As far as malt liquor goes, this isn’t that bad. One dollar can start you on your way to a drunken mess. Cheers!

This is a good beer if you have no taste buds. But at $1.19 for a 40 ounce, you can t beat picking up 3 of these and not remembering the night!

Pours a..........who the hell am I kidding. Ice cold out of the freezer and from the bottle. Aroma is corn, malt, sugars, water and not much else. Flavor is malt, corn, sugars, water and Cold! Cold tastes pretty good on a hot summer day. Too bad there are no mountains that turn blue to tell me this is cold.
