low overal score because of the 13 dollars i paid for this. champagne lager? Try malt liquer. If i paid 1 dollar for this it would get a 2.0, but 12. Pretty bottle, tossing the rodenbach name around. What a rip. Save your cash. Aweful.

purchased as Krait Prestige in a corked caged 750 mL bottle. light pop of the cork, and a lagerlike aroma billows out. pours a yellow-gold color with a medium-heavy upwards cascade of bubbles - perhaps the champagne billing is <gasp> a marketing gimmick. some fusel alcohols noticeable and a lightly bitter finish. i can’t believe i blew $12 on this.

Deliciously non-descript; overwhelming in its mediocrity; looks like BMC. If someone could figure out how to brew a beer out of Corn Pops, this would be the product. On another note, I blame this beer for giving me a wicked hangover headache this morning. Hey, I gotta blame something.

Pours golden with a light white head. Kind of an uninspiring smell. Light citrus,sem-skunky smell. Not very appealing. Taste has an unexpected cinnamon sweetness to it but kind of seemed out of place. Its kind of like a farmhouse ale with some spices, but would be a poor rendition of one. Pprobably wont have it again.

Bottle, pours very carbonated to a slightly cloudy golden colour with a large white frothy head that disapated quite quickly. Definitely a grainy and sweet malt aroma with just a touch of hops and fruit (pinneaple) to spice it up. Quite a refreshing palate - gassy, but too offensively so. A sour malty flavour, not too much going on there, doesn’t drink like its 8% though. Overall OK, nothing amazing, but would be good with spicy food (and that must be the idea mustn’t it?).

Bottle. Pale gold colour with a huge white head. Light sweet malty and grainy aroma. Malt and alcohol in the taste. Grassy and gassey. Not a bad European Strong lager.

Clear yellow colour with a white head. Malty, light sweet aroma with a vague hint of grass. Malty, alcohol and grainy sweet flavor with a hoppy grassy finish.

Yellow/gold, with a white head. Aroma is malt, hops, fruit, and grain. Flavors is malt, fruit, grain, and alcohol, but is kind of flat tasting. Not as bad as it’s score, but nothing special, and nowhere near worth $11.
