1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
Bought under the name of Krait Prestige champagne lager at a decently hefty price. Tasted like over carbonated miller to me. Just a sad, sad beer.

750ml bottle as a gift, purchased in Morrisons Supermarket, Glasgow:
I wasn’t quick sure about this one at all really, on the one hand it was quick strong and fairly basic but on the other it was easy to drink despite the strength and seemed better than what you usually get from an imperial pilsner, it wasn’t great but it was certainly a decent effort. I’m not entirely sure it’s a beer I’m realistically likely to pick up again but it is another off the 1001 list and I did manage to finish it easily enough.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle from Morrisons. Given the powerful name and elaborate bottle I expected better than the bland tasting slightly dry lager that’s clearly stronger than but perhaps lesser than regular cobra. Has a weak pale golden appearance with a small bubbly head that disappears fast. Aroma is slightly sweet.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Big 750ml bottle - pours hazy straw colour with a big bubbly head which gradually fades away. Aroma of fruits, malts and alcohol. Some acidity and a hint of banana. Taste is malts, mild bitterness, some fruits, banana and bubblegum. Light body, light carbonation. I spent £5 or so on this and it was definitely not worth it - especially when I discovered it was infact brewed in Burton-on-Trent - it travelled much further to get to the distributor than it would have to send it straight to my house.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
750ml bottle. Very mediocre. The hopping style does nothing for this strong lager. Brewed with rice and yet cost £5-99 a bottle, need I say more. It is quite smooth, fairly unpleasant, sour and not as nice as the bottle it came in. Do not pay £5-99 for this. I wouldn’t pay £3-99.
