Gold, average fine head on top. Grainy aroma, fruity malty behind. Carbonated front with sweet malty middle. Mineral finish. Lacking depth, body. Cool packaging that’s all. Belgia brewery can make alone better strong lager than this one.

In July 2010, I wrote this: Sold in the UK as ’King Cobra’, it costs Ł6.75 for the regular 0.75 Litre bottle at one of my local Indian restuarants (about $10.00).
The two 0.75L Cork and Caged bottles from last night were poured into four champagne flutes and topped up fairly often as we drank our way down the bottles.
Light, lemony yellow with a slight haze, especially at the lower end of the bottle (no bits, but obviously some light sediment is in the base of the bottles. Lively head in the pour, but no staying power.
The smell is of Belgian yeasts, interesting but not strong.
The beer is really a strong lager in taste and feel, I like it and for the price is good value. Not sure it is in the correct style cat, but it isn’t a bad beer at all.

Pours light amber with a creamy white head. slightly fruity/malty aroma, with a light carbonation. taste is creamy, slight background fruit and spices, with a light bitterness. much stronger than its cousin. a very drinkable lager, and great with a curry!

Smooth lager taste leads to a high alcohol flavour which is slightly oily on the palate, not as good as I remember it
4.1 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 12/20 Phictor (11) - DENMARK - JAN 27, 2012
Chunky looking, much yeast, almost like stomach acid. Requires some chewing in order to really feel it. The beer itself sucks cheetahballs.

75 cl bottle. Rated on 12.10.2009
Murky stuff with disappearing head. Aroma feels a lot like basic lager with grainy malt and some fruity notes. Flavour has grainy malt, some fruits and hints of alcohol. A bit more smooth with the yeast. Better than I expected.
3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ogreface (864) - Budapest, HUNGARY - JAN 11, 2012
0,75 l bottle courtesy of Armando629, thanks!

0,75 l bottle.
Poured cloudy opalescent pale straw with a medium foamy white head that collapses quickly and diminishes to a small lacing one. Moderated one with a light aroma of fructose and honey, rice, sourish yeasts. Medium bodied one, light fruity character of alcohol, grains and rice, moderated flavor, sourish yeasts, lurking hops.
2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 crossovert (2791) - Wisconsin, USA - MAR 4, 2011
750ml bottle, corked and caged. "Crafted in Belgium" "Champagne Lager".
Pours a pineapple/pee colored yellow ithe a big foamy white head that sticks for awhile and leaves some lacing.
It smells fruity and oaky, very champagne like. It also had some hops and bready malts.
The mouthfeel is light and lightly carbonated. It isn’t too dry. It has again alot of fruits, honey and basic malts.
It is a decent beer though perhaps not worth the price.

Bought under the name of Krait Prestige champagne lager at a decently hefty price. Tasted like over carbonated miller to me. Just a sad, sad beer.

750ml bottle. Pours a gold orange with a large, frothy head. Aroma is corn, caramel, some grass and alcohol. Taste is corn to start then some grass. Slightly dry finish. Lots of carbonation.
