Bottled at Stockholm Beer Festival. Nut brown, creamy head. Roasty, buttery aroma. Sweet and medium bodied, soft an dlaid back. Roasty, earthy malt flavours followed by careful hop bitterness. Well crafted.

Dark brown pour with a tight tan head. The nose is lovely. Fresh toasted malt, a little bit of cocoa and brown bread. Fresh clean malt with just a touch of yeasty aroma. It's nothing fancy, but it's a top notch dunkel.

Amber, tan creamy head with very little retention. Fruity, caramel, roasted nuts, some malt. Has a sweet to slight bitter finish. Not a bad dark lager.

341ml bottle. Pours a dark reddish brown with a tan head. Nose is chocolate, some dark fruit and a little booze. Taste is roasty malt, with kind of a rye bread yeastiness and some woodsy smoke. A little chocolate bitterness on the finish. Dry finish, but the body was a little light. Overall, this was a rather enjoyable dark lager.
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 cfrancis (1364) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - DEC 19, 2011
The best of the King three kings pack. Pours a dark brown with a small brown top. Aroma is mostly roasted malts with a small hint of hop. Taste is a little smokey, a little roasty with a small hop bite. Solid beer but fairly pedestrian.

500ml draught

I tried this beer on tap on December 15, 2011 at "The Beerbistro" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a dark coca-cola brownish-black, with golden-brown edges and a cream coloured cap. Aroma was wheat, roast, caramel, toffee with some weak floral hints. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was sweet malt, toffee, and a hint of molasses and spice.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Raistlin (39) - London, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 19, 2011
Pours a dark amberish brown with a small tan head. The aroma is toffee and roasted caramalts underneath metalic Noble hops. Flavor is very nice, starts out almost sour with grainyness then some good sweet malt body kicks in, with a bitter hop bite in the finish. Grainy malty awesomeness. Minor mocha hint to it as well. Leaves the palate wanting more. Super-sessionable, this is an excellent beer.
