A fruitbasket in an IPA. You can tell just by the nose that you have a nice, subtle IPA. There’s not a ton of hoppy bitterness to it, but enough to give it some character. Just enough carbonation, but it’s the fruit that makes it. Mostly grapefuit (as mentioned by others) but some more citrus appears, with a perfect crisp finish. These guys are a diamond in the rough.

Slightly hazy amber body with a small white head. The aroma is very hoppy, citrus, grapefruit and pineapple. The flavor is grapefruit, light caramel and fairly dry. Medium body with soft carbonation. Nicely done.

12 oz. Bottle. Poured with barely any head. Nice amber color and a pleasant, citrusy smell. Grapefruit is the first taste to hit you, then a copper tang that doesn’t stick around long. Eaten with granny smith apple, and it worked.

IPA's are my favorite style and this offering from King Brewing is a pretty good version. The aroma of light citrus is present along with fresh bread dough. Taste is predominantly of hops and grapefruit. Not as flavorful as a Two-Hearted or Hop Devil, but it is easy to drink. This would be a good IPA to introduce an non-IPA person to try.

Poured a cloudy bronze color with bubbly white head. Nice hopppy grapefruit flavor with some malt to back it up.

I agree with the other raters that this is grapefruity, but also has a strong grainy bready malt character. King is now bottling a few of their products. This was yummy, if a tad thin (depsite the maltiness...?...perplexing). A beautiful coppery color.

Hazy orange-copper body, dense, thick beige head that slowly dissipates. Perfumey aroma punctuated by pine and caramel. A somewhat unusual biscuity flavor with flower petals, pepper, grapefruit rind, and pine. Sweet caramel breaks up the rather muddy, resiny character. Complex but not in a defined or ordered manner. Interesting.

Poured a volcanically effervescent amber with a voluptuous frothy white head that would not stop erupting. Had to place the bottle in the sink and pour it over a duration of several minutes. Nice initial aroma of pine and grapefruit rind with a bit of sweetness. Taste follows with dry notes of rind, grass and a bit of bitter earthiness with a touch of toffee sweetness. Slightly spicy. Extremely bubbly body gives it almost a hoppy-tripel feel. While it is likely that the foam phenomenon was more due to the bottle’s age than its intended construction, I must admit it added a bit of liveliness to what could have been otherwise a forgettable beer.

Poured medium to dark murky amber. Decent citrus aroma. Nice floral citrus hop taste. Has some sweet malt throught the middle. Very crisp, dry finish.

12 oz bottle, courtesy of Psychprof. Dark amber/copper, fairly clear, lovely caramel-meringue looking head. Fairly subtle nose, grapefruit, orange, caramel and some indefinable spices. On the tongue, as Michael mentions, quite bready, very malty but with just the right kick of citrusy hops. The citrus is more in the flavor; this has little acid and is extremely smooth. Yes, it is a bit thin, but no that’s not bothering me on this sweaty night. Very nice, thanks Michael!
