Tsingtao has set up a new brewery in Tanzania, and of course they brought their beer to the Qingdao Beer Festival. Served unfiltered from the gravity barrel. Yellow and quite cloudy. Fresh, yeast-forward bread aroma. A little bit flat, and the taste is bready/doughy in nature. Interesting, probably nothing like what this beer will taste like in the bottle in Africa.

Draft @ Qingdao beer festival. Really cloudy unfiltered brew, yellow-orange and flat. Smells yeasty and doughy but pretty clean and earthy. Bland. Nutty doughy palate. Not much flavor. Reminds me too much of a kit beer, underlagered. Some resinous hop is here but needs more crispness. But is good enough. The black is so much better.
